Bab 5 (102)

Hello, enter Number 5 ..that is Babylon 5 , a brilliant adult sci-fi series that ran during the mid-nineties.. i have to say i had expected some more respons..Even if i dont care for numbers that much i overestimated the interest, must stem from my own enthousiasm about this series. It's true it really kicks into gear during the second season..well let me know if you want more or a higher frequency say 2 episodes every week....

It was the dawn of the third age of mankind – ten years after the Earth-Minbari War. The Babylon Project was a dream, given form. Its goal: to prevent another war, by creating a place where humans and aliens can work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call – home away from home – for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans and aliens, wrapped in two million, five hundred thousand tons of spinning metal... all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace. This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2258. The name of the place is Babylon 5.

An alien spacecraft of unknown design tumbles through the jump gate, on an uncontrolled collision course with the station., and the strange alien inside is identified as a Soul Hunter - an immortal race who can sense death and supposedly steal someone's soul. Ambassador Delenn reacts with horror at the new arrival, describing him as Shak Tot - a Soul Hunter, a figure feared in Minbari lore. Delenn tells the commander to either kill it or get it off the station before someone dies.
